GREENFIELD — A Montague man was arrested by Greenfield Police on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after crashing a motor vehicle into a utility pole on Sunday evening.

Donald Hill, 48, of Montague, was arrested after being released from the hospital, where he declined medical care, following a crash near 808 Colrain Road, according to a post on the Greenfield Police Department’s Facebook page.

According to police, Hill was released on bail later that evening. Police say this was his third operating under the influence charge.
