MONTAGUE — Atlantic Golf & Turf, a Montague-based business, has purchased one of the buildings previously owned by Hallmark School of Photography.
Atlantic Golf & Turf did not answer repeated requests for comment, but did announce the new headquarters in a blog post on Monday. The post said that the move was a way for the company to get all of business in the same space.
“With about 35,000 square feet the new building has more than enough room for us to bring everything under one roof. We are currently in Phase 1 of this consolidation with us spending the last few weeks renovating what will become our warehouse space,” the post said.
The building, at 27 Industrial Blvd. in Turners Falls, is not far from the company’s current building, at 9 Industrial Blvd.
The company bought the building for $1.7 million in February, under a limited liability corporation called River Bluff Realty LLC, according to the Franklin County Registry of Deeds.
The company plans to move its offices and staff down to the new building next, and it also plans to use the building’s auditorium to hold classes related the company’s business.
Atlantic Golf & Turf, according to its website, “is a leading supplier of chemicals, fertilizers, ISTRC Soil Tests and agronomic consulting services to the New England Region.”
The other two Hallmark buildings, located near Industrial Park on Millers Falls Road, still appear to be for sale.
