Planning Board hearing Wednesday

SHELBURNE — The Planning Board will hold another public hearing tonight to review the latest revisions to the proposed parking requirements based February’s public hearing. That meeting begins at 7 p.m. in Memorial Hall.

The major change since that meeting is to eliminate a requirement for a property owner to provide on-site parking spaces for renovated commercial or retail space within the Village Commercial zoning area. It still provides for on-site residential parking space requirements for new apartments. However, under exemptions, the ZBA would still be allowed to waive even this requirement under various circumstances.
