There had never been a February tornado in Massachusetts before, and we have all noticed the recent increase in dramatic weather events. Most experts agree this is a result of human-caused climate change and that we should expect more temperature extremes and major storms.

Town officials were thrilled with the fast, efficient and knowledgeable help the town received from the state. This highlights the importance of state taxes to our well-being, but raises questions about who pays their fair share and who doesn’t?
