Tom Bergeron has many accomplishments during a successful golfing career, but on Wednesday morning he did something he had never done before.

The Gill resident shot his age for the first time ever during his Wednesday Men’s League at the Duran Golf Club in Viera, Fla.

The 67-year-old Bergeron, who is a member of Crumpin-Fox Club in Bernardston but winters in Florida, carded a 34 on the front nine and a 33 on the back to shoot his age. Prior to Wednesday, the closest he ever came to accomplishing the feat was when he shot a 66 as a 64-year-old.

John Creighton, John Kaief and Jeff Henning witnessed the feat.
