Come to Second Saturday in Shelburne Falls on Saturday, March 11, to celebrate that sweet New England treat — syrup.

Take advantage of Keystone Market’s sale of $2 off a half gallon of Ryan Brothers maple syrup. Choose from Molly Cantor Pottery’s selection of pitchers, creamers, and other vessels inspired by sugar season. Stay for her exhibit and reception from 2 to 5 p.m. for “God Is Love” — an installation of pottery and sculpture inspired by spiritual practices and religions.

Try your hand at wheelthrowing from 2 to 5 p.m.

There will be two gallery receptions. One will be at the Shelburne Arts Cooperative for “Spring Preview” a member artist group show. The second will be at Salmon Falls Gallery, 4 to 6 p.m., for Nathan Hanford’s exhibit “Friendship Thread: portraits of friends both near and far.”
