Head of reference at Forbes Library since 2010, Molly Moss will take on a new role at Forbes as Assistant Director/Patron Services Librarian.
Moss has worked as a reference librarian since 1997, spending several years as an academic science librarian before making the move to public libraries in 2003.
Since starting at Forbes, Moss has remodeled the Doland Reference Room and co-founded the Readers Advisory Round Table for Western Massachusetts. Moss has also served as a library trustee, both in Illinois and currently in Shutesbury.
In her new role at Forbes, Moss hopes to continue her focus on improving customer service as well as work with programming, collections, and community outreach.
