GILL — A two-car crash on Route 2 caused slight delays in traffic as travel was limited to one way for about 20 minutes Sunday night.

Both vehicles were going east on Route 2 when the crash occurred at about 5:40 p.m. One of the drivers was transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center as a precaution, according to local police.

Gill Police Officer Brian Ravish said the car that was hit was stopped to turn left into the Wagon Wheel restaurant, when the driver behind him was distracted while grabbing a tissue and didn’t see the car stopped. That driver hit the stopped car then corrected and jumped the curve.

Travel was limited to one lane for about 20 minutes while Gill Police and Fire Departments responded.
