Info meeting on streets tonight
SUNDERLAND — A public meeting will be held tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the town offices about a draft of the town’s Complete Streets Prioritization Plan. For more information, or to find a draft of the document, visit the town’s website at www.townofsunderland.us
DEERFIELD — For residents with furry friends, 2017 dog licenses are now available.
For spayed and neutered dogs, the price is $5; unaltered, $10. The license fee is waived for residents 70 and older. If paying by mail, it’s 50 cents more.
A notice on the town’s website notes that residents should license their dogs by April 30, or incur late fees.
To get a license or for more information, visit or call the town office. The clerk’s office is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
DEERFIELD — Town officials are seeking input from the public on this year’s Community Development Strategy. To give town residents a chance to share their thoughts on the strategy, an information meeting will be held Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. in the town office at 8 Conway St. near the center of the town.
“The purpose of this meeting is to update the Town of Deerfield’s FY 2017 Community Development Strategy,” notes a statement on the town’s website.
Beforehand, residents can look over a draft of the document at the town hall.
