ATHOL — The Athol Downtown Vitality Committee is undertaking a market analysis to help determine market conditions and which types of businesses could be supported in downtown Athol.

ATHOL — Students living in Worcester County can apply for college scholarships through the Greater Worcester Community Foundation.
Apply for free at www.greaterworcester.org by March 6. All applicants who meet the deadline will be considered for all the foundation’s 130 scholarships they are eligible for. Anyone with questions can call 508-755-0980 or e-mail to scholar@greaterworcester.org.

ATHOL – Valuing Our Children is hosting “Raising a Thinking Child” classes on Tuesdays from Jan. 31 to March 28.
Classes at 217 Walnut St. will last from 10 to 11:30 a.m. There will be no class on Feb. 21.
The classes are for parents of children 4 to 7 years old so they can learn to help resolve everyday conflicts, improve parenting skills, improve communication and better their children’s behavior.
