Pleaded guilty to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, third offense, sentenced to one year in the house of correction, 180 days direct. Balance suspended, with recommendation that the sentence be served at the Howard Street facility in Springfield then placed on probation until 1/14/18, with a fine of $800 plus $200 surfine. OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must have no alcohol and subject to screens, and must have no driving until the Registry of Motor Vehicles reinstates the license. Must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation and take any aftercare treatment recommended. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, dismissed on request of the commonwealth.
