Holiday Gifts: We’re here for your last minute gift needs. Gift certificates and Greenfield Recreation Department sweatshirts available for purchase. Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount and can be used for all programs the recreation department offers as well as season passes to the swim area. Forest green hooded sweatshirts with Poet Seat Tower recreation logo on front chest are also available in adult small to 2XL for $30.

Pee Wee Basketball: Registration for Pee Wee Basketball, grades K-2 is now open. Learn the fundamentals of the game through skill building drills and scrimmages. Pee Wee will be held Thursday nights, Jan. 5 through March 9. $35 residents, $40 nonresidents. The registration deadline is Dec. 30. An additional $5 late fee will be assessed for all late registrations.

Winter Carnival: Get ready for an Arctic Blast. Save the date for Winter Carnival 2017, Feb. 3 through 5. Back by popular demand, the third annual Parade of Lights. We want to see you light up the night by decorating your vehicle. Contact the recreation department for more information and a registration form at 413-772-1553. The Recreation Department is also seeking ice carvers for the annual downtown Ice Sculpture Walk as part of the Winter Carnival.

Winter Glove Donations: We are seeking donations of winter gloves and other cold weather gear for participants in our GRASP after school program. Help us support play in all kinds of weather. Donations can be dropped off at our 20 Sanderson St. office.
