I was saddened to hear about the vandalism of the manger display setup by the Keep Christ in Christmas group. I am not a member of any congregation, but I appreciate their message to shelter the homeless, feed the hungry and remember how important it is to take in refugees, especially of other faiths and races.
There is often grumbling about a religious display on town property, but I am happy to find common cause with any group (religious or not) who work to increase charity and peace.
