Tomas Murphy had 19 points and 8 rebounds on Saturday and Northfield Mount Hermon School crushed Champlain St. Lambert, 91-30, in a boys’ prep basketball game as part of the Scholar Roundball Classic at Babson College in Wellesley.

NMH led 46-21 at halftime and did not allow a second-half field goal to Champlain until nine minutes remained in the game.

Nate Laszewski also scored 19 points and finished with 5 boards in the win. Matt DeWolf had a double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 steals, and Kai Toews added 8 points and 9 assists.

Deerfield dropped a 7-3 decision to Choate Rosemary Hall in a boys’ prep hockey game Saturday in Wallingford, Conn.

• In girls’ action on Friday, Christina Halloran and Mary Edmonds each scored but Deerfield was edged by Noble & Greenough School, 4-3, in Dedham.

Wrestling

Deerfield went 2-1 during the Deerfield Academy Quint Meet Saturday in Deerfield.

Deerfield defeated Tabor School (45-36) and Worcester Academy (54-15), but dropped a 63-18 decision to Belmont Hill School.

Squash

The Deerfield girls’ squash team defeated Noble & Greenough School, 6-1, Saturday in Deerfield.

Youth hockey

Mites win

Luca Siano had six goals and one assist on Saturday, and Chase Zraunig had three goals and three assists to help Franklin County Hockey Association to a 18-6 win over Ludlow Maroon in a Greater Springfield League Mite Division game.

Stefan Flaska had four goals and an assist, and Jack Laurie had a goal and two assists. Shawn Baumann finished with one goal and one assist, and Cordellia Rhodes, Hayden Ardrey and Carter Schloat each had one goal. Jahleel Perry made 18 saves to pick up the win.

Dillon Warriors win pair

Hunter Haughey and Derek Lenois each scored twice on Sunday to lead the FCHA Dillon Chevrolet Warriors toa 8-3 win over Holy Name Green in a GSL Bantam Division game at Collins-Moylan Arena in Greenfield.

Adam Savoy, Porter Clancy, Kyle Barnes and Jacob Bryant each added one goal in the win, while Savoy, Bryant and Steve Parkinson notched two assists apiece. Lenois had one assist, and Jordyn LaVallee made 10 saves. Cooper Barton and Sam Battisti each played well defensively.

• On Saturday, Haughey had three goals and three assists to lead Dillon’s to a 8-5 win over the Eaglebrook School junior varsity team in an independent game.

The Warriors scored four times in the third period to overcome a 5-4 deficit.

Bryant also recorded a hat trick to go with an assist, and Clancy and Parkinson had one goal apiece. Parkinson, Barnes, Barton and Tony Wozny each had an assist, and LaVallee stopped 34 shots. Jake Croteau played well in the win.

Colleges

Valley at Westfield

Jill Valley scored a team-high 20 points on Saturday but Westfield State University suffered a 111-103 overtime loss to Smith College in a non-conference women’s basketball game at the Woodward Center in Westfield.

Westfield is now 4-4 on the season.

Baseball

Dean College camp

Dean College in Franklin is hosting a four-week baseball camp starting Jan. 22.

The program is open to players in grades 1-12 and features sessions in advanced hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and baserunning. Space is limited to seven players per coach.
