Greenfield Winter Farmers Market

Local farmers and artisans will congregate at the Four Corners School with the best of this seasons produce and products, including vegetables, meat, maple syrup, honey and more.

The local farmers market runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, Dec. 3, Jan. 7, Feb. 4 and March 4 at the school at 21 Ferrante Ave. in Greenfield.

The Greenfield Winter Farmers’ Market accepts debit/credit cards and EBT/SNAP (Food Stamps) benefits. Those shopping with EBT/SNAP benefits can double their dollars up to $10.

Winter conference

The NOFA/MASS Winter Conference at Worcester State University will be held Jan. 14, 2017. There will be a full program of courses for adults, teens and children on food and agriculture.

The event will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Sheehan Hall, 486 Chandler St. in Worcester.

There will be more than 70 workshops and experts from the fields of organic farming, gardening, landscaping, homesteading and more.
