ROWE — Special town meeting voters agreed to spend $70,000 to repair and remediate erosion damage at the town transfer station, which was caused by heavy rains in August.
The money, to come from the town’s “free cash” reserves, will be used to stabilize and repair the washout area and to improve stormwater drainage to avoid further erosion along the southern slope, toward Phelps Brook.
