HATCH 2 seeks creative projects

The HATCH program (Hilltown Art & Thriving Community Happenings) is designed to inspire, support, and help fund creative projects that engage the hilltown communities of western Franklin County.

Two free work sessions — run by artists Jane Beatrice Wegscheider, Artist Director of The Art Garden, and Phyllis Labanowski, regional artist and co-director of Art For A Change and ARTeens — will be offered to help artists develop and receive feedback on their idea.

Work sessions will be held at The Art Garden on Nov. 17 and 30 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Those moving forward can apply for $50 to $1,000 grants for projects that will be selected through a juried process.

It is funded, in part, by a Massachusetts Cultural Council Adams grant.

Selection criteria and applications are available at: theartgarden.wordpress.com
