GSFBA elects new board officers

SHELBURNE FALLS — The Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association has elected new officers for the coming year. Former treasurer John Baldwin of Stepping Stone Accounts is now the Association’s president; Mary Lynn Sabourin of the Franklin Land Trust is president-elect of the executive committee (Eric Grant of WHAI is president until January); John Taylor of Blackmer Insurance is treasurer and Whit Sandford, a nonprofit consultant and regional planner, is secretary.

Artists wanted for ‘Place Maps’

SHELBURNE FALLS — The Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association is looking for artists who are interested in creating a new design for placemats that have been used at local restaurants and which advertise local businesses.

Artist Susan Wyant of Colrain, who has been designing past placemats for at least 20 years, is retiring from that job.

Vendors, musicians wanted

SHELBURNE FALLS — The Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association is still looking for street vendors and musicians to participate in the village’s “Moonlight Magic” holiday celebration on Nov. 25, the day after Thanksgiving.
