Hanah. M. Qandeel, 21, of Lester Street, Erving. Charge of assault and battery on family/household member, was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, after meeting in person with the alleged victim, it has been determined by the Commonwealth that we can’t proceed to trial. The alleged victim’s version of the events don’t constitute an assault and battery, and memory of events leave much doubt as to what in fact happened. Lastly, the alleged victim has no concerns about the defendant, and does not, wish her to face further prosecution.
