Halloween Party: Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Carnegie Library.  Children of all ages and families/caregivers are invited to make crafts, play spooky games and eat yummy snacks. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. 

Tuesday play group: Weekly on Tuesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. in the children’s room of the Carnegie Library.  For young children and their parents or caretakers.

Craft time: At the Carnegie Library, Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.  Drop -n crafts for children of all ages with Angela.

Story time: Wednesday mornings weekly at 10:15 a.m. at Carnegie Library. Thematic stories, projects and snacks for young children and their caregivers, with Karen Wartel.

Home School Science: Hands on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering Math) activities for homeschoolers of all ages, with Angela or special guest. 1 p.m. Wednesdays.

Music and Movement: This fun series for young children with Tom Carroll and Laurie Davidson. Thursdays at 10 a.m. at the Millers Falls Library, through Dec. 15. 

Used Book Sale: At the Carnegie Library on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.  All books, DVDs, CDs, and audio books are $1 each or less.  Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Montague Public Libraries.  Donations of used books in good condition that are not out of date are being accepted.  For more information, call 413-863-3214.

Expanded Hours: The Carnegie Library is now open on Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. year-round.
