It has recently come to light that Donald Trump, and presumably others like him who make millions and billions of dollars each year, have loopholes that allow them to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.

In fact, Donald, who apparently pays no taxes to the federal government, considers himself a very “smart” businessman for doing this. Rudolph Guiliani has gone even further in applauding this behavior, calling Donald a “genius.”

So where does that leave me, the average taxpayer? Should I admire him for his smarts and hope that someday I can be like him? Or should I be boiling mad about the fact that I and millions of other Americans have been dutifully paying our taxes and carrying that big fat orange blob on our backs for decades?

Put me in the boiling mad category.

Maybe it’s time for us average taxpayers to make our own loopholes — become geniuses, like Donald — and stop paying taxes altogether. And, maybe, I will do just that this year, inviting my fellow “dumbies” to smarten up with me.

If there are enough of us , we might just bring about the change that so many are looking for — and bring down the government and the whole country with it.

That kind of change just might get the attention of the sleeping giant we call “Congress.”
