Oct. 18 to 23: Poets, story tellers, spoken word, book fair.

Tuesday, Oct. 18

Open reading: The Arts Block, 289 Main St., Greenfield. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Show starts at 7. Local and nationally known writers have signed up. Writers can put their name in a hat for remaining five-minute slots until closing time. Line-up includes Joshua Michael Stewart, Lori Desrosiers, Tommy Twillite, Donald Fisher, Louise Normyn, Richard Horton, Paul Richmond, Amy Laprade, Debbie Tosun Kilday, Colin Haskins, Adam Grabowski, Susan Cocalis, Storm, Alison Murchie and Chris O’Carroll.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

The Mole: A night of storytelling: five-minute true stories — no props, no script. The Arts Block, 289 Main St., Greenfield. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Show starts at 7 promptly and goes to 9 p.m. $1 to $10 donation. Line-up features: Doug Anderson, Kevin McVeigh, Alison Murchie, Peter Tusinski, Paul Richmond, Marian Kelner, Susan Cummings, Storm, Alice Barrett, Janice Sorensen, Eve Brown-Waite, Amie Hyson, Tommy Twilite and Joshua Jay Waffleman.

Thursday, Oct. 20
