Every malady experienced by man, physical or political, explicit or implied, is addressed in the Holy Bible — how it happened, why it happened and how to prevent it from happening again.
But, America is too smart to believe in all that. I worked for a college professor who told me: “If we elect a president who has to pray for wisdom, then we’re all doomed!” (I’m not sure that’s a worry this time around).
If you read “Faith Matters” on Saturday, you will find many local churches preach, in essence, that we are God, God is Love and God is us. Don’t bother with the doctrine of Scripture, they say, for it is nothing more than the “commandments of men.”
So, are you bemoaning the 2016 choices for president? If you can’t decide who to vote for, 2 Timothy: 3 will explain why.
Want a different outcome? Then you’ll have to change everything up to now to change anything from now on.
