Bev Labelle carded a low gross of 40 during the Ashfield Community Golf Club Women’s League on Thursday morning.
Katie Benedetti posted a 27 for low net. Diane O’Connell had the fewest putts with 14.
Maynard 5-miler
The 22nd annual Don Maynard Memorial 5-Mile Road Race and 3-mile walk will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Greenfield Municipal Swimming Area.
Runners and walkers can register beginning at 8 a.m.

PV pole vault school
The Pioneer Valley Pole Vault School in Bernardston is open by appointment for individual and group lessons through the fall with negotiable rates.
Lessons will be taught by Pioneer Valley Regional School track and Northfield Mount Hermon pole-vault coach Jim Bell, himself a Masters pole vaulter.
