Some of you may be getting tired of the ongoing “racism,” “ anti-Semitism,” “homophobia” dominating the news and our lives.
I was, too.
We are being told Greenfield is a haven and hotbed of hate.
Personally, at the time, my intelligence was offended when it was demanded I believe a young boy was traumatized by ghosts from the slave-owning, lynching South and Confederacy jumping into his “right-to-be-safe” zone, because of a neighbor’s flag hanging in his garage way off the road.
But now I understand the how scary symbols can really be. I can no longer drive down a certain section of High Street because of those lions facing the street at the old Knapp place.
The owners must be Christaphobes, and I demand those carnivores be removed.
As a Christian, don’t I have the right to feel safe from images of the early church persecution by the Romans?
