I am writing to express my deep appreciation for the outstanding staff at Baystate Franklin Medical Center during my wife’s recent stay there after she broke her hip.
From the emergency department nurses (Gina, Pat and Robbin), to the transport guys (Justin and Jeff), to the nursing assistants on Spoke 3 (especially Julia and Holly), to the nurses there (especially Diane, Lucy and Christine) to the physical therapists (Ruth and Liz), my wife and I were treated with the utmost professional courtesy and respect by everyone we came in contact with, which made this situation so much more bearable.
All the technology and medicines are great, but it is the human contact with real people that really makes the difference. I am very grateful to have this excellent resource in our community.
