SHELBURNE — Selectmen will hold a public evaluation hearing regarding Comcast cable television services on Sept. 19, at 7:15 p.m. in the selectmen’s meeting room in Memorial Hall.
Under the town’s cable franchise agreement with Comcast, the board may hold an annual performance review to give residents a chance to comment on the cable operation and on service to their homes. This may include comments regarding service outages, response time and the resolving of complaints.
All residents are welcome. Those who can’t attend may submit written comments about their service to the Board of Selectmen.
This hearing will only cover issues about cable television service, not broadband coverage. A separate process is underway to extend the broadband network.
