BUCKLAND — Proposals for community-oriented arts, humanities, and science programs that want town funding are due Oct. 17.
Organizations, schools, and individuals may apply for Cultural Council grants that support such activities in the community. These grants can support a variety of artistic projects and activities including exhibits, festivals, field trips, short-term artist residencies, or performances in schools, workshops, and lectures.
The Buckland Cultural Council has $4,400 in funding from the state.

HEATH — The Heath Cultural Council has set an Oct. 17 postmark deadline for organizations, schools and individuals to apply for grants that support cultural activities in the community.
These grants can support a variety of artistic projects and activities in and around the Town of Heath including exhibits, festivals, field trips, short-term artist residencies or performances in schools, workshops and lectures
