FOOD AND FARMS

Shelburne Harvest Dinner

6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17. Fellowship Hall, Little Mohawk Rd., Shelburne. The Shelburne Agricultural Commission invites you to a Harvest Dinner featuring the produce of Shelburne’s farms. Proceeds will help fund the Shelburne Agricultural Commission’s future endeavors, and there will be a drawing for Shelburne grown products. As in the past we will be serving local beef, pork and lamb stew accompanied by Shelburne-raised side dishes. Many Shelburne farms (Wheel-view Farm, Shingle Brook Farm, Dragon Brook farm, Hagers, to name a few) are contributing to the meal. Enjoy a slide show featuring Shelburne’s Century farms — farms that have remained within the same family and stayed in use for a century or more. Ticket are $15 each. For tickets contact Beth Manning at 413-625-9967.
