ERVING — The Route 2A connector in Erving was reopened Thursday morning following weeks of closure for roadwork.
Ryan Grannan-Doll, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation’s deputy communications director, said the project, to be finished by spring, includes reconstruction and reconfiguration of the intersection between Route 2A eastbound and the Route 2A connector.
It will also include micro-milling and resurfacing of the Route 2A and Route 2A connector along with minor widening.
The project is on schedule to be completed in Spring 2017. Construction began in July 2015. The bid price is $551,584.
