Allison Cockshaw and Alexander Betsold, both of North Dighton were married Sunday, May 29 at 3 p.m. at The Coonamessett Inn in Falmouth.

The bride is the daughter of Teresa Capachione of North Dighton, and William Cockshaw of Brockton. The groom is the son of Matthew and Penney Betsold of Turners Falls.

Attendants were Cheralynn Cockshaw and Kristen Tyler, sisters of the bride; Adam Forest, Sarah Howe and Carolyn McCrone. Sophie Tyler, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

The groom’s attendants were Taylor Yozwaik, Gregory Betsold, brother of the groom, Alex Beltran, Alex Casimiro, James Hammett.

The bride is Assistant Director of Bands at Northeastern University in Boston. She graduated from Brockton High School in 2008 and received a bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Trumpet Performance from UMass, Amherst in 2012. She received a Master’s Degree in Wind Conducting from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS in 2016.

The groom performs and teaches percussion in the greater Boston area. He graduated from Pioneer Valley Regional School in Northfield in 2008. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Percussion Performance from UMass, Amherst in 2012. He received a Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance in 2016 from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS.

The reception took place at the Coonamessett Inn in Falmouth.

The couple took a honeymoon to Montreal and Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

The bride will use the name Allison Betsold.
