HEATH — A 74-year-old Southwick man was transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center after hitting a guard rail on his motorcycle early Saturday afternoon.
Massachusetts State Police say the man was riding his BMW motorcycle on Route 8A, and the accident occurred near Judd Road.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated. No other vehicles were involved.
Police say the man suffered a possible broken leg and that his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
No other information is available about the operator’s identity or condition at this time.
