Used Book Sale: Held at the Carnegie Library on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Thousands of books, $3 a bag. DVDs and CDs are $1 each. Benefits the Friends of the Montague Public Libraries.

Children’s and Adult Summer Reading Programs: It is not too late to sign up at all three Montague Public Libraries for the self-directed reading programs.

Tuesday Playgroup: Weekly on Tuesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. in the children’s room of the Carnegie Library. For young children and their parents or caretakers.

Craft Time: Is held at the Carnegie Library on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Crafts for children of all ages with Angela.

Story Time: Children and their families are invited to come and enjoy stories, crafts, music, activities and snacks with Karen Wartel on Wednesday mornings at 10:15 a.m. at the Carnegie Library in Turners Falls. The weekly free series is designed for young children. This is a great time to meet new people, listen to stories, chat and spend a Wednesday morning.

Music and Movement: This fun series for young children with Tom Carroll and Laurie Davidson is held on Thursdays at 10 a.m. during August at the Carnegie Library.

Home Delivery: Do you, or someone you know, have a hard time accessing your local library? Library volunteers can bring books, audios, and movies to your home. Call 863-3214 for more information.

Expanded Hours: The Carnegie Library is now open on Wednesdays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. year-round.
