ORANGE — Resident Lisa Meuse was the winner of a $20 gift certificate as a part of the Wheeler Memorial Library’s summer reading club for adults and teenagers.
Each Monday through Aug. 8, a new winner will be announced from those who have entered the prize drawing. The weekly drawings are part of a campaign by the Friends of the Orange Public Libraries to get patrons to “exercise their mind” in support of a good cause. For every book participants read this summer, 25 cents will be donated to the Orange Food Pantry. There is still time to get in on the prize drawings and support the pantry in its effort to provide healthy food to local folks in need. For more information, call the library at 978-544-2495.
ORANGE — As part of Harry Potter Week, the Wheeler Memorial Library will host Ed the Wizard for a Harry Potter-themed magic show at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
