GREENFIELD — Hilary Ann Henderson, 31, of 207 Chapman St. was arraigned in Greenfield District Court Friday for allegedly possessing to distribute a Class A drug and possessing a Class B drug.

According to police records, Greenfield police had probable cause to believe that Henderson was keeping controlled substances in her vehicle after witnessing two separate drug deals Thursday, both of which Henderson admitted to.

Detective Kevin Rowell was granted a warrant by a Greenfield District Court clerk Wednesday to search Henderson’s home. Finding that she was not home Thursday morning, police located her at 10:18 a.m. near Hampton Inn & Suites Greenfield.

Henderson allegedly met with a female with long, light-brown hair, wearing a dark-colored bag around her neck and a teal shirt. Henderson reached into her vehicle, a brown 2003 Chevrolet Malibu, and handed something to the female, who clenched the object in her hand to obscure it from view.

The two parted and police temporarily lost surveillance of Henderson, according to the report.

At 12:20 p.m., after they had reacquired surveillance, police witnessed Henderson pick up a female in a pink top and black shorts on Harrison Avenue and drive her to Bank of America. The female went into the bank and when she came out, Henderson gave the woman something from a yellow plastic bag in the trunk of her car.

Police arrested Henderson at her home at 12:58 p.m. Henderson admitted to selling heroine to both women and allowed the search of her vehicle, where police recovered $550 worth of heroine.

Police also found numerous used syringes and a glass tube with burned ends on the dining room table in Henderson’s apartment. Police recognized the tube as being used to smoke crack cocaine.

Henderson was able to post bail for $100 and will return to court for a pretrial conference Sept. 6.
