Tuesdays In the Park: In recognition of July being “National Parks & Recreation Month,” we are planning some really fun activities for you and the family. Advanced registration is not required, and there is no limit as to how many can participate. We’ll just include everyone who shows up! We’ll meet right outside the field house, next to the playground. Activities will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. at Unity Park, weather permitting; July 26 — Kickball

The River Valley Ice Cream Ride: Saturday, July 30, Unity Park. Sponsored by River’s Edge Cycling and Bart’s Ice Cream. Registration begins on-site at 8 a.m.; 50-mile ride begins at 9 a.m., 25-mile ride begins at 10 a.m., 5-mile ride begins at 11 a.m. Fee Structure; Double Scoop Adult, $70; Double Scoop Junior, $35; Single Scoop Adult, $50; Single Scoop Junior, $25; Kiddie Scoop Adult, $25; Kiddie Scoop Junior, $10. Price includes marked and supported route, rest stops, lunch at Unity Park and ice cream. Adult (18 and over). Junior (under 18). Children under 10 free when accompanied by adult registered participant. This event supports MassBike, and CISA (Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture).

Fall 2016 Youth Soccer Registrations: Registration will begin Monday, Aug. 1, for all levels (entering grades); Start Smart Soccer (K-2); $30 for Montague residents, $35 for nonresidents, Junior Travel (3/4); $45 for Montague residents, $50 for nonresidents and Senior Travel (5/6); $50 for Montague Residents, $55 for nonresidents. Program begins the second week in September.
