GREENFIELD — A man wanted in Texas on charges of molesting children was arrested Wednesday evening by Greenfield Police.
Bruce A. Hatt, 46, was wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in Texas on four separate counts of aggravated sexual assault of a minor child.
Greenfield Officer Michael McDowell arrested Hatt at the Greenfield Homeless Shelter on Wells Street, on Massachusetts charges of being a fugitive from justice.
He was arraigned in Greenfield District Court Thursday morning, where he waived his rights to appeal extradition to Texas. He is being held without bail until his extradition.
