PLEASE tell me that Kathe Geist’s absurd “article” in the My Turn page was a joke! It was a joke, right? “Zealous crazies” and “fanatics?” Is she serious?
Her ridiculous claim that she can leave her dogs in a car during the summer and enjoy herself at a restaurant, because she parks in the shade, leaves water and checks on them? I find this ridiculously unbelievable!
Having recently moved to Maine, I often see dogs left in cars while tourists shop. This is intolerable and I, as well as my friends, call the police, who show up and look for the owners.
Kathe Geist needs to sit in a hot car for a little while and see what it feels like.
Better yet, she should not be allowed to have dogs. I hope local shelters see this “writing” of hers and do not allow her to adopt a dog EVER! Ms. Geist, you should not own any pet with the attitude you have.
I hope Mass. passes the law that allows people to break car windows when they see a dog inside, left on a hot day. I know I will.
