GREENFIELD — Thomas J. Meshako has been named chief financial officer and treasurer of Greenfield Savings Bank.

He will be responsible for all aspects of financial operations of the bank, including financial reporting, investments and asset management.

He joins the bank with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Most recently, he served as chief financial officer of Merchants Bancshares in Burlington, Vt. Before that, he was in the same position at Brookline Bancorp in Boston.

“Tom brings a wealth of knowledge obtained from a broad range of experiences in working with community banks,” said John H Howland, president and CEO of Greenfield Savings Bank. “As an experienced community banker, Tom brings a set of values consistent with Greenfield Savings Bank and its commitment to the communities we serve.”

Meshako has relocated to the area with his wife and three daughters. He he has a master’s in business administration in organizational management and a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
