LEYDEN — No one was injured following a rollover crash in Leyden Wednesday afternoon.
Leyden Police Chief Dan Galvis said the car was southbound on Greenfield Road when the driver swerved over the line, then shot back across the roadway when she tried to correct the drift, striking a steep embankment and rolling over.
The accident happened around 2:15 p.m.
Galvis said a flat tire on the car and wide skid marks on the road indicate that the tire may have been low on air, pulling the vehicle to the side and causing the driver to correct.
The car’s driver, a woman, declined to provide her name. She and her son, who was also in the vehicle, were uninjured.
The vehicle was righted and towed from the scene by Leon L. Sirum & Co. of Greenfield.
