Speak out

Penny Ricketts is responding to her harassment with characteristic courage. But the intent is to scare the rest of us into silence. Every time someone in Greenfield speaks up publicly against bigotry, there is a backlash of some sort. The rest of us need to follow Penny’s example and get louder instead of quieter. White people, as long as racism goes on, it goes on in our name. We need to stop it.
