It was lovely to attend the Bee Fest in Greenfield on the weekend of June 3 and 4th. I attended the talk on Friday night by the actor portraying Reverend Langstroth, participated in the fun raffle, and enjoyed the events and especially the bees in the trees downtown made by Greenfield children. I don’t know if there is another town that celebrates this lowly but significant pollinator. Thanks to Sandy Thomas, Corey Sanderson and others at the First Congregational Church in Greenfield for making Greenfield a great place to “bee.”
