Caregiver Support Group 2 to 3 p.m., second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. This group was formed to support caregivers in the emotionally and physically taxing role of taking care of loved ones who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to take care of themselves. Stroke Support Group 10 to 11 a.m., third Tuesdays of the month. The goals of the new support group are to promote an atmosphere of caring and cooperation, promote new goals and friendships for stroke survivors and their families and caregivers, and to renew hope and encourage independence. All stroke survivors, their family members and caregivers are welcome. Light refreshments will be available. Amputee Support Group 5 to 6:30 pm, third Thursdays of the month. The group has a goal of assisting amputees in their daily lives by offering them the opportunity to share ideas and support each other. Sohail Waien, MD, Baystate Franklin Medical Center hospitalist, facilitates this group. Baystate Franklin Medical Center Conference Rooms, off the main entrance, Baystate Franklin Medical Center’s Medical Office Building, 48 Sanderson St., Greenfield.
