Brush up on your French!
I’m not referring to the language, but to the potential third party candidate David French of whom Bill Kristol, editor of the “Weekly Standard,” has introduced as an alternative to the Trump campaign.
French is a recipient of the Bronze Star upon his service in “Operation Iraqi Freedom” and is a constitutional lawyer, a staff writer for the “National Review” and a constitutional lawyer who has written several books.
Unlike some of the other candidates, he comes with no baggage, a clean slate — someone we as voters need not make excuses for to justify why our current nominee should be held above the fray.
Many may claim that David French is just a spoiler, but perhaps he’s really our redemption.
