GREENFIELD — Buddy Baseball, a program for girls and boys with disabilities, ages 6 and up, has raised money for an accessible wheelchair for the Green River Swimming and Recreation Area.
This chair will enable anyone with physical challenges that inhibit them from enjoying the beach and river to access the water and cool off for many summers to come. Buddy Baseball and the Greenfield Recreation will be hosting a special presentation on June 18 at noon at the Green River Swimming area.
Those interested in playing or being a buddy can call the Greenfield Recreation Department at 772-1553. Buddies play for free.
