Craft Time: Moved to the Carnegie Library and is Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Stories, crafts, and snacks for children of all ages, with Angela.
Story Time: Children and their families are invited to come and enjoy stories, crafts, music, activities and snacks with Angela on Wednesday mornings at 10:15 a.m. at the Carnegie Library in Turners Falls. The weekly free series is designed for young children. This is a great time to meet new people, listen to stories, chat and spend a Wednesday morning.
Homeschool Science: Is held on Wednesdays at the Carnegie Library at 1:15 p.m. Weekly hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) activities and experiments for children of all ages and their caregivers. On May 18th, Linda Ackerman, manager of the Greenfield Savings Bank in Turners falls will visit.
Music and Movement: This fun series for young children with Tom Carroll and Laurie Davidson is held on Thursdays at 10 a.m. through June at the Montague Center Library.
Nonfiction Book Discussion: The next title to be discussed is “Outliers: The Story of Success” by Malcom Gladwell on Saturday, May 21st at 2 p.m. at the Carnegie Library. The number-one national bestseller analyzes what makes people successful. The answers are surprising. The facilitator is Linda Hickman, library director. Copies are available at the circulation desk.
Millers Falls Historical Walking Tour: Begins at the Millers Falls Library on May 22nd, at 1 p.m. Enjoy a leisurely stroll and learn more about local history with David Brule, Sara Campbell, and Ed Gregory.
