CONWAY — Virginia A. Knowlton will continue the job she started three-and-a-half decades ago, after defeating challenger Sheila M. Harrington in Thursday’s election.
Knowlton is a 36-year veteran of the town clerk position and won re-election 248-131.
Robert A. Armstrong Jr. won the opportunity to replace the departing Jim Moore, beating challenger Gerald L. Levitre 297-107 to earn a three-year seat on the Selectboard.
Ashley N. Dion won a two-year seat on the School Committee, beating Karl M. Anderson 159-129, with 117 blanks.
Residents also voted to/against have/having its elected town clerk position become an appointed town clerk of the town and to/not to ratify a vote they took at town meeting to borrow of money for a new pumper truck for the fire department.

Jaffe, planning board, three years; Cynthia J. Ouimette, Frontier Regional School District Committee, three years; J. Nicholas Filler, moderator, one year; Brian R. Blakeslee, constable, three years; Ronald D. Hawkes, constable, three years; James R. Recore, constable, three years.
