Marjorie Levenson, a current member of the Gill-Montague School Committee, is running for re-election on May 16.
Levenson has been a well-spoken voice of clarity and reasonableness during a particularly contentious period for the committee these past few years. Efforts to improve discourse, to increase openness and to assume respectful behavior have slowly begun to take hold, thanks, in large part, to the tireless work of Levenson.
Additionally, Levenson has a most impressive background: advanced degree in labor relations, former member of the Montague Finance Committee and successful business owner.
