MONROE — Write-in candidate David Gagne is the ballot winner for an empty combination post as a simultaneous member of the Selectboard, Planning Board and Board of Health.
Nine incumbents were also re-elected to their positions in Monday’s annual town election.
In this town of roughly 115 residents, voter turnout was 43 percent, as 31 out of 72 registered voters gave town officials another term of office.
Among those re-elected were: Carla Davis-Little for another three-year term on the combination Selectboard, Planning Board and Board of Health.
Davis was also re-elected to her seat on the School Committee and to a one-year term as auditor.
Also re-elected were: Finance Committee member Norman Goodermote, Library Trustee Thelma Gomez, and Constable Clifford Oakes.
Re-elected to one-year terms were: Moderator Norman Goodermote, Town Clerk Marcella Stafford Gore and Tree Warden Raynold Passardi.
Six write-in candidates got one vote each for an open seat on the Board of Assessors/Zoning Board of Appeals, according to Town Clerk Marcella Stafford Gore. It is not yet known who will take that three-year seat.
