MONROE — Nine incumbents are seeking re-election and three seats are on the ballot without candidates, in this town of roughly 115 residents.

The polls in Town Hall will be open Monday from 2 to 6 p.m.

Carla Davis-Little is running for re-election to her three-year, combination Selectboard/Planning Board and Board of Health seat, but no one is the ballot seeking to replace Selectboard member Larry Thoresen for a two-year seat.

Because the town is small, Selectboard members serve in all three capacities.

There are also two open seats on the combination Board of Assessors/Zoning Board of Appeals — one for a three-year term, and the other for a two-year term.

Selectboard member Davis-Little is also running for re-election to a three-year term on the School Committee and a one-year term as town auditor. Besides her many hats as a town official, Davis-Little is also the town’s librarian.

Other incumbents running for re-election are: Finance Committee Norman Goodermote, Library Trustee Thelma Gomez, and Constable Clifford Oakes.

Seeking one-year re-election terms are: Moderator Norman Goodermote, Town Clerk Marcella Stafford Gore, and Tree Warden Raynold Passardi.
